Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe addresses AIM Board at Governor's Mansion

November 17, 2022 - Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe addressed members of the Associated Industries of Missouri Board of Directors during a reception at the Governor's Mansion in Jefferson City.

In introducing Lt. Governor Kehoe, Ray McCarty, president and CEO of AIM, said, "Lt. Governor Kehoe has signed both sides of the check and has represented businesses well in the Missouri Senate and now as Lt. Governor. I can truthfully say he is the same today as when I met him. He is a genuine and steadfast champion for business and the people of Missouri."

Lt. Governor Kehoe spoke of his background in business, the reasons why he chose to run for public office, and his belief that government should "get out of the way" and let businesses thrive.

Lt. Gov. Kehoe also discussed the Buy Missouri program. Buy Missouri was started by Governor Mike Parson when he served as Lt. Governor. Associated Industries was involved in the initial planning and rollout of the program and continues to promote the program which promotes Missouri-made goods. AIM Board Member Ruth Binger of the Danna McKitrick law firm did the legal work to secure the trademark for the Buy Missouri program.

The group was entertained by Randy Wright on the grand piano. Coincidentally, Randy was also in on the ground floor of Buy Missouri when he served in the Lt. Governor's office.
